Mortgage advice

First-time buyer mortgages

Understand your budget, choose a suitable mortgage and have your application managed from the outset.

Our mortgage advice fee is £695, payable on completion. We also receive a procuration fee from the lender, which will be disclosed to you.

Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.

The Financial Conduct Authority does not regulate all Buy to Let mortgages.

How we help

  • Know your budget. We assess your circumstances and explain potential borrowing, deposit requirements and costs.
  • Compare suitable mortgages. We recommend options based on your needs and the overall cost, including fees.
  • Arrange an Agreement in Principle. We help obtain an initial indication of borrowing from a lender.
  • Have your application managed. We liaise with your lender and solicitor and keep you informed as the mortgage progresses.

Your questions, answered

Is an Agreement in Principle a mortgage offer?

No. It is an indication of what a lender might lend following initial checks. A full offer depends on the application, further checks and the property.

When should I speak to you?

Before you start viewing can be useful, so you understand your potential budget. We can also help if you have already found a property.

Mortgages are subject to lender criteria and affordability checks. We explain the relevant fees and charges before you decide.

Let’s discuss your mortgage.
